ANTUONG NGUYEN

Antuong Nguyen is an artist and director based in Melbourne, Australia. He studied to become a fine artist, completing a BFA in Painting at the Victorian College of Fine Arts in 2001, before venturing into temporal-based practice and completing a second BFA in Media Arts at RMIT beneath Phillip Brophy

Antuong's films have been screened at the Institute of Contemporary Arts (London), Transmediale Festival (Berlin), Melbourne International Film Festival, ACMI and the Centre for Contemporary Photography (Melbourne).

Antuong has worked on several Moop Jaw videos as a stylist and art director and is a key part of our aesthetic. His music video for Qua's 'Goodmorning Sun' was recently featured in Digital Arts Magazine (UK) and has since directed music videos for Peaches new single 'Mommy Complex' (produced by Digitalism), the first single from Sally Seltman's forthcoming album 'Harmony To My Heartbeat' and collaborated with Rhett Wade-Ferrell on Neon Indian's the much aniticipated first single 'Deadbeat Summer'

Antuong has just finished up his solo exhibition at Seventh Gallery in Melbourne and had a photo included in the 2009 Movember Exhibition at Open House Gallery in New York.

RHETT WADE-FERRELL

Rhett completed his BFA as a graduate of Media Arts (RMIT) his first music video for Young & Restless earned him a spot in Rolling Stone's 'Top 10 New Directors of 2007'. As co founder of Moop Jaw he began learning his production methods from Korean production companies Compass and Safari Films shooting commercials locally and internationally.

Rhett has directed music videos for Miami Horror, Gameboy/Gamegirl, The Temper Trap (with Madeline Griffitith), The Getaway Plan, Beni and John Steel Singers.

Working as Moop Jaw's producer and most active director for the past 3 years in 2010 Rhett will start a new division to the company, Moop Jaw Films and manage the collectives second studio in New York City. His short doccumentary on Christian Joy (Karen O's costume designer) and her husband Jason Grisnell will be released in Early 2010.

His new music video collaboration with Antuong Nguyen for Neon Indian and art direction for the Miami Horror album are due out by the end of 2009.

JON VERMILYEA

Jon Vermilyea studied cartooning at the School of Visual Arts in NYC. After graduation he worked as Production Manager at PictureBox Inc. for 3 years, producing over 25 art books. Jon currently works as a freelance artist doing illustration for print and apparel, book production, comics, animation and silk screen editions.

Jon is a regular contributor to the Fantagraphics anthology MOME and has been featured in publications such as The Ganzfeld, Vice Magazine, and Illustrators 51 Annual. Jon has done over 30 t-shirt graphics for street wear company Mishka including the entire line of Goblin shirts. He also animated the music video for the new song My Girls by Animal Collective.

Recent projects include the show poster and a line of t-shirts for Fantastic Fest in Austin, TX, a 5 color silk screen book based on the Mars Attacks cards of the 1960's by Koyama Press, a 4 page story in the The Simpson's Treehouse of Horror #15 comic by Bongo, design for the Animal Collective Animal Crack Box, and production for the Michel Gondry comic 'We Lost The War But Not The Battle'.

Jon is currently working on some wallets for Poketo www.poketo.com.

Jon's debut music video that was produced through KNOWMORE for Animal collective's single 'My Girls' is a great psychedelic success.

WARRAN WRIGHT

Warran completed two consecutive Fine Art degrees, Graphic Design at the School Of Art in Tasmania, and Media Arts at RMIT. Co-founder of Moop Jaw Warran has been working as the graphic assistant for Misha Hollenbach at fashion label Perks And Mini for the past 3 years. Warran's video work for The Golden Filter (Thunderbird and Solid Gold), John Steel Singers (Rainbow Kraut) and Gameboy/Gamegirl (Golden Ghetto Sex) are all memorable Moop Jaw moments. Humor aesthetic and talent in animation, post production and design have made him a major part of Moop Jaw's visual style and signature.

Warran's experimental apprach to camera movement is also a notable talent shown in Catcall's video for 'August' and Dardanelles 'Mirror Mirror'.

Warran is currently working on the second music video for NEON INDIAN Should've Taken Acid With You and recently made a laser mouthed sculpture that was exhibited at Open House Gallery in New York as part of the Movember campaign.

RYAN FRAZER

Graduating from Multimedia (RMIT) in 08' and heading back for a Post Grad in Graphic Design in 09'.

Ryan directed the music video for Red Rider's single 'Ordinary' in July 2009 and recently shot a video for the Movember Exhibition at Open House Gallery, New York. Even though he has only one music video directing credit to his name, Ryan has worked in the art department of almost every Moop Jaw video over the past 2 years. Expect big things in 2010.
